Artist Statement

“I have had a long career in interior design. I am now transferring my design experience to painting.

My attitude has been that design should be technically correct, but the rules bent, stretched, and interpreted.

I am using that same process when I create a piece of artwork. I prefer strong colors and subjects with universal appeal. I like to surprise the viewer with a different approach.”
